Jaguar Animal Facts

Jaguar is the third largest cat predator in the wild world after tiger and lion. Jaguar hunting animals are more active in the morning and afternoon. Jaguar can be found in the lush rainforests in Central America and South America such as Mexico and Argentina.

Although this exclusive animal spends most of it's time either resting in the safety of the trees or hunting in the dense undergrowth, Jaguars love to be in the close proximity of water such as floodplains and slow-moving rivers, and they rarely venture into arid, more desert-like areas. The Jaguar is an excellent swimmer and can move through the water at surprising speed particularly when in pursuit of prey.

Jaguars are carnivores that have unusually strong bite which can make strong tortoise shells can be penetrated in one bite. They live by hunting and eating deer, tapirs, dogs, foxes and water animals like fish, even the giant anaconda snakes can be a victims.
